A pioneer of astronomy in Morocco celebrated by his university and colleagues
The Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakesh has produced a video tribute to Zouhair Benkhaldoun, professor of astronomy at the university and director of the Oukaïmeden Observatory. After a general introduction and archive footage, several of his colleagues share their memories in French, Arabic, and English.
This is an opportunity to republish the brief interview he gave to Afriscitech in 2018 during the Young African Scientists in Europe (YASE) conference held in Toulouse.
